Microsoft Rilis Office Professional Academic 2010 Microsoft telah mengkonfirmasi adanya eksistensi
Office Professional Academic 2010 edition, yang pernah
diumumkan di bulan lalu. Selain itu, Microsoft juga
mengkonfirmasi bahwa produk Office Home and Student
akan hadir dalam versi Family Pack yang dapat digunakan
untuk 3 PC sekaligus. Sedangkan untuk pembelian Office
Home and Business, Office Professional, dan Office
Professional Academic dapat digunakan untuk 2 PC,
sementara Product Key Card di dalamnya hanya valid
untuk sekali instalasi software tersebut.

Office 2010 tersebut dalam bentuk DVD, sehingga tampak
environment friendly, dan berukuran kecil daripada di
paket dalam DVD. Office 2010 yang sudah dirilis dalam
versi beta November lalu, telah di-download lebih dari
2 juta orang di seluruh dunia, menurut Microsoft.
Microsoft juga mengeset versi beta tersebut akan expire
di bulan Oktober 2010, sambil menunggu Office 2010
